City & Guilds 2391-10 4 day course intended to enable candidates to become conversant with the requirements for Inspection, Testing and Reporting of existing electrical installations.

Level 3 Certificate in Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations-City & Guilds 2391-10

4 Day course intended to enable candidates to become conversant with the requirements for inspection, testing and reporting of existing electrical installations.

It is aimed at practising electricians who have carried out initial verifications and certification on new electrical installations and require further training in periodic inspection, testing and reporting.

It is not suitable for those coming into the industry with limited experience of inspection and testing (the Certificate in Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification - 2392-10 is intended for this purpose). Testing experience is a requirement of attending this course. 

In addition to relevant practical experience, delegates must possess a good working knowledge of the technical requirements of BS 7671 to City & Guilds 2382-12 certificate standard or equivalent, ideally having achieved the 2382-10 qualification. (See the three day course City & Guilds 2382-12).

Candidates who achieve this qualification may progress to the Certificate in Design, Erection and Verification of Electrical Installations (2391-20)

There are 2 units a practical assessment and written exam. The practical unit is taken during the 4 day course. The written exams take place on dates published by City & Guilds and need to be booked 6 weeks in advance of the date required and are subject to availability. 

Please Note: Candidates will automatically be booked on to the next available published exam date after the course attended or during. If this date falls within the 6 week exam registration period there will be additional late entry fee as applied by City & Guilds of £75.00 + Vat. if this date is not acceptable to the candidate it is their responsibility to advise us of any changes required at the time of booking.
