A2 The City & Guilds 2382 is a first step requirement for enrolling on a Part P scheme, for example, if you have not previously trained as an electrician. Q3 Does the City & Guilds 2382 qualify me as a electrician? A3 No. The City & Guilds 2382 provides you with an understanding and knowledge of the workings of the regulations, eg how to use the regulations, and how to find information, and basic electrical formulas and calculations. A5 The City & Guilds 2392-10 course will provide a qualification in Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification of new electrical installations and is aimed at thise with little or no inspection or testing knowledge.
